Goodnight Ranch Looks Back on a Productive Year with Plans for New Developments Breaking Ground in 2019
Plans for next year include hosting 3rd Annual Festival of Good, celebrating the “good” things in Austin.
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) December 11, 2018 - As 2018 comes to a close, Goodnight Ranch reflects on a successful year filled with residential growth, exciting new developments breaking ground, a well-produced 2nd Annual Festival of Good and great progress on improvements to Onion Creek Metropolitan Park. Since opening in 2017, the 700-acre community is now home to more than 100 residences – completely selling out of the first section of single-family homes. In 2018 an additional 107 lots were added, with a total of 140 homes estimated to be complete by mid 2019. The third phase of 92 homes will also be available for purchase in 2019, in addition to new multi-family options that broke ground earlier this year, offering a range of housing options for every stage of life.
“We are thrilled with how Goodnight Ranch is expanding and has the opportunity to better serve the needs of residents in South Austin by providing a wide range of price-points and home sizes buyers and renters can choose from,” said Myra Goepp, VP of Benchmark Land Development. “Our philosophy at Goodnight is to provide our community with the live, work, play mission Goodnight Ranch is known for, like offering pocket parks, trails and our annual Festival of Good event that residents can enjoy, which also helps foster connection among neighbors. We are looking forward to another successful festival and all the new developments to come in 2019.”

BlueStar® Introduces ‘Winter Solstice’, the Latest Addition to the Award-Winning ‘Savor the Seasons’ Color Collection
Curated by Interior Designer Eric Cohler, ‘Winter Solstice’, the 2nd in a series of four distinct color palettes, was inspired by seasonal ingredients used by home chefs
Blandon, PA., December 11, 2018 - BlueStar®, manufacturer of handcrafted, high-performance kitchen appliances for the home – and a pioneer in customization and color innovation – announces Winter Solstice, the second in the new, award-winning Savor the Seasons color collection curated by internationally acclaimed interior designer Eric Cohler. Inspired by the flavors and colors of fresh ingredients and the natural world, this collection features four custom seasonal palettes, all designed to inspire home chefs to create a personal space that reflects their passion for cooking and entertaining.
The Savor the Seasons collection is being introduced by season, with Autumn Abundance announced this fall. Winter Solstice is a cool collection of comfort colors (Sage, Grape, Cocoa Bean and Ice) that bring the outdoors inside. Sage is a sweet green color like that of the culinary herb which has woody stems and grayish leaves. This subtle color looks great with wood tones, stainless steel and various types of stone. Grape combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. Cocoa Bean, an earthy brown, is rich and luscious, and is simultaneously both classic and modern. Ice, a steely light blue, is nature’s color for water and sky. The color is wet and cold, and because it is so pale, it can function as more of neutral and blends easily with other finishes. Cohler recommends pairing this color collection with antique brass trim for a rich look.
Coral Springs, FL., December 11, 2018 - New clients are already moving away from stark, hard-edged modern interior design, says Interior Designer Perla Lichi, ASID. “Lately clients are asking for a softer, more relaxed contemporary look, with more color. Bringing nature inside is another trend that we are most definitely noticing. These two concepts work hand in hand.”
The Frogtape Brand Painters Mask company predicts “Natural and Organic,” among one of five interior design trends for the New Year. Read a complete description of all five predictions here.
Vertical gardens and moss natural walls both inside and out are commercially available from companies such as Verde Profilo in Europe and California-based Artisan Moss. These companies consider their works as art or 'plant paintings.' They say they are not only gorgeous but also carefree, since moss doesn’t require maintenance.
Top mountain west design firm takes older styles modern while honoring western spirit
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, May 22, 2018 – Log homes have been a familiar fixture in the Rocky Mountain West since turn-of-the-century homesteading days. But the recent rise in popularity of Mountain Modern architecture has left older log houses languishing, with prospective homeowners rejecting the style as dark and outdated. Still, especially where an older home has good bones and a sensible layout, there’s an opportunity to burnish the rustic charm while inviting a more sophisticated contemporary aesthetic, says Rush Jenkins, design director of Jackson Hole interior design studio WRJ Design. Jenkins and his partner and WRJ co-founder Klaus Baer have been helping clients renovate log homes to achieve a distinctive alpine elegance for years.
“It’s satisfying and fun to transform an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan,” Jenkins said in a recent interview on updating log homes for The Clear Creek Group Blog. “Log homes are a great way to begin with the traditional, and from there, make design decisions that incorporate a more current aesthetic. In doing so, you can get the best of what you might love about both.”

POMPANO BEACH, Florida, (PRWEB)MAY 22, 2018 -
“Christie Brinkley's Tower Home”
America’s most popular supermodel, Christie Brinkley, has put her longtime Hamptons estate on the market asking $29.5 million. The 20-acre estate in Bridgehampton, called Tower Hill, is now far too large for empty nester Brinkley and though it was perfect for raising her daughters, it is no longer practical for a single woman with three children who are now young adults.
Like many celebrities who require safe places to park their wealth, Brinkley has invested in real estate, concentrating in the Hamptons at the tip of Long Island. She has been a resident there for years and though originally a California “surfer girl” as a youth, the 64-year-old “Uptown Girl” now calls the Hamptons home.

Presales of GroBox, the All-in-One, Plug-and-Play Indoor Hydroponic Greenhouse, Grow Beyond 750% of Kickstarter Goal
SAN DIEGO, February 2, 2018 - Support is growing dramatically for GroBox, an all-in-one, plug-and-play indoor hydroponic greenhouse, with crowdfunders pushing sales beyond $75,000 on Kickstarter– more than eight times higher than its original campaign goal.
Offering anyone the ability to grow their own plants conveniently in their own home, GroBox controls the watering schedules and air flow to grow plants faster than other methods while using two-thirds less water than traditional systems.
By using hydroponics technology that makes GroBox self-watering, sets watering cycles and manipulates the LED grow lights, users only change the water in GroBox a few times a month – skipping the guesswork for how often they should be watering their plants.
GroBox has also formulated a fertilizer solution so plants get the exact nutrients they need, providing clay pellets that replace messy soil and allow for even water distribution. The LED grow lights in GroBox also provide the lighting the plants need no matter the season or outside weather, and are also customizable for the specific growth phase for specific plants.
Innovative Architecture Firm, DWA PLLC, Introduces Retailers to the Future of Bedding Showrooms at the Las Vegas Winter Market 2018
DWA PLLC of Las Vegas, Nevada just introduced the mattress industry to a new method of selling beds by designing and building the first ever experiential bedding showroom.
LAS VEGAS, February 3, 2018 - Innovative Architecture firm, DWA PLLC, introduces retailers to the future of bedding showrooms at the Las Vegas Winter Market 2018.
New mattress manufacturer iSense Sleep, just successfully launched the World’s First Adjustable Mattress line in Las Vegas at the Winter Market 2018. DWA PLLC from Las Vegas, NV was chosen to design the showroom because of their experience in the industry. "I knew about their reputation of building high quality retail spaces but I was energized with Ryan and his team’s enthusiasm for building something different". states Paul Longman, Founder and CEO of the iSense Sleep brand. "My goal was to improve the customer experience, instead of a traditional space we wanted our stand to control the sales process from start to finish and that uniqueness energized them'. “This exciting project has a been a collaborative effort. The design of this showroom is a direct reflection of Paul’s passion for his product and DWA PLLC couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this exciting project”, states Ryan Kronbetter, Partner at DWA PLLC.
The design concept was to create a showroom that challenged the typical mattress buying experience. Typical mattress retail stores require 5,000 to 10,000 square feet to display the assortment of mattresses they carry. The three mattress types that iSense Sleep has developed can be displayed in a space as small as a 500 square feet area in a big box store or a stand-alone store as small as 1,000 square feet. The 2,000 square foot showroom space at World Market Center in Las Vegas allowed for plenty of space for the new display to take shape. The design concept of the new space was to immerse the customer in the experience they would get walking into a traditional retail store found in “Downtown Middle America”. This concept was captured by splitting the showroom into two primary spaces, the park or streetscape and the actual store.
